She is particularly interested in improving inequities in access to technology and education, specifically in under-resourced communities. Working as an elementary school English teacher in Delegsol, Ecuador, was particularly informative on the unique needs of each community and on creative solutions for funding and access to technology. By choosing to study foreign affairs, she couples this experimental knowledge with a strong academic foundation.
